Sh2-101 and NGC 6946
Constellation: Cygnus
Sh2-101, the Tulip nebula, is an emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus. It lies about 6’000 Ly from Earth. To the northeast lies the Wolf-Rayet star WR133, part of a binary star system and the open cluster NGC 6871. Link to interactive sky chart.
