RCW 58

Constellation: Carina

RCW* 58 is a ring nebula formed by the ejecta of the Wolf-Rayet star WR 40 (the central star in the image) in the constellation of Carina. The nebula expands with a velocity of 90 km/s. Link to interactive sky chart.
