This image was taken from Heaven’s Mirror observatory with a SharpStar 140 and the SBIG STXL16200 camera: Ha: 48x600s; Oiii: 46x600s; Sii: 47x600s, for a total integration time of 23h 30′.

NGC 3572, is a young open star cluster just south of the nebulosity. It contains the planetary nebula PhJa 1.

Also visible are the blue planetary nebulae Pre 43 (left middle) and PN G289.8+00.5 (the top right ).

Above: NGC 3532 (Caldwell 91) is an open cluster about 1’321 Ly from Earth. There are also two faint planetary nebulae near x Car: PN G289.8+01.2 and PN G289.8+01.3.

Right: The Reflection nebula NGC 3503 and surrounding nebulosity.
