NGC 2170

Constellation: Monoceros

NGC 2170 (The Angel nebula) is a reflection nebula in the constellation of Monoceros. It is located about 2’400 Ly away, near the Monoceros R2 molecular cloud complex. It is an active star-forming region. Link to interactive sky chart.
