Messier 33

Constellation: Triangulum

Messier 33 (NGC 598), the Triangulum galaxy,  is a spiral galaxy 2.73 million Ly from Earth in the constellation Triangulum. Messier 33 is the third-largest member of the Local Group of galaxies, behind the Andromeda Galaxy and our galaxy, the Milky Way. It is one of the most distant objects that can be viewed with the naked eye (under very dark skies). This image was taken with a lot of Hydrogen-alpha data to highlight its many bright H-II regions. This image was taken on several night in 2021 and 2022.

Telescope & Mount:

Celestron 9.25″ EdgeHD with Hyperstar 4.0 on a 10Micron GM1000HPS mount.
