Gum 37
Constellation: Carina
Gum 37 (RCW 54c), also known as the Southern Tadpole Nebula, is an emission nebula in the constellation or Carina. Its distance from Earth is about 9’485 Ly. It is associated with the star cluster NGC 3572, and at the bottom of the image, one can see the planetary nebula PhJa1. Link to interactive sky chart.
