NGC 4945
Constellation: Centaurus
NGC 4945 (a.k.a. Caldwell 83) is a barred spiral galaxy in the constellation Centaurus, located about 11 million Ly away. It is seen edge-on. NGC 4945 is thought to be similar to the Milky Way and has a combined estimated stellar of 38 billion times the mass of the Sun. Link to interactive sky chart.
