Sh2-154 and Sh2-155
Constellations: Cepheus
Sh2-154 is an H II region located in the constellation of Cepheus. It is located at a distance of 3’260 Ly from Earth. Nearby, slightly above Sh2-154, one can see the open cluster NGC 7419. The well-known Cave nebula (Sh2-155), another H II region, is at the bottom of the image. The small and bright H II region at the top right corner is Sh2-156 (IC 1470). Link to interactive sky chart.

This image was taken during several nights between April and June 2022. It was taken with narrowband filters (Hydrogen-α, Oxygen-III and Sulfure-II) and enhanced with Luminance.
