Sh2-124

Constellation: Cygnus

Sh2-124 is an emission nebula located in the constellation of Cygnus.  It is about 8’480 Ly away from earth. To the north-northwest of Sh2-145 is the small planetary nebula LDû 1, and to its wets-southwest is the small duck nebula. Link to interactive sky chart.
