Messier 105, the Sombrero galaxy

Messier 104 (also known as the Sombrero galaxy or NGC 4594) is a peculiar galaxy of unclear classification located on the border between the constellations Virgo and Corvus. Its disance from the Milky Way is approx. 31.1 million Ly. It is a member of the Virgo II Groups of galaxies. Link to interactive sky chart.
